History

1773 The principality in Darmstadt gives permission to 3 enterprises in the region to found an iron hammer mill in the community of Battenberg in the Eder mountain region. Auhammer is founded.
1874 For the first time the name Hasenclever is mentioned in documents.
1913 An iron foundry is being built and affiliated to the hammer mill.
1958 The hammer mill is shut down and the foundry expands.
1964 Takeover by Eisenwerk Brühl first as subsidiary now as an independent affiliated company.
1973 Start of crankshaft production in croning procedure.
1982 Installation of a moulding line for the production of turbo charger housings and cylinder heads.

2001 Start of production of turbo charger housings in high temperature resistant cast steel
